It's the Minnesota Jazz Orchestra playing swing that's so real; so gutsy and smooth you'll want to dance to it all night. Whether you desire the coolness of "I Get a Kick Out Of You", the slow passionate crescendos in "When I Fall In Love", the swinging beat of "Sing, Sing, Sing", or even latins and waltzes, MJO delivers a full big band sound the way you've heard only on CD's... better yet, it's live! Members of this fine ensemble include proven professionals with road experience and training from top schools around the country. MJO features a magnificent 16 piece big band along with fabulous vocals. MJO has invited me to be their number one substitute male singer, and of course, I agreed! I sang with them at the Wabasha Street Caves in St. Paul recently to a packed dance floor! The night was fantastic and I'm looking forwarded to performing with them again soon.
